Lucketts Spring Market - unpacking & prepping

So excited.  The countdown for this weekend's Spring Market is down to hours now!

Everyone has been hard at work today as some of our vendors just got in to town to set up their booths.

We wanted to share a few pics of how the day has been going...

Our new entrance gate this year.  Heather is doing a garden theme with wheelbarrows, plants, and gardening tools.  Look for lots of rust!  Henry & Heather made this adorable entrance booth from columns and architectural salvage.

Yup, that's a giant birdhouse at the entrance!

Aren't these old car parts so cute?  Love the rust, dents and dings.
A few of the spaces that were getting set up today.  Lots of furniture, architectural pieces, mirrors...I saw a little bit of everything being unpacked.

The HomeTalk booth is set up. Donna from Funky Junk Interiors will be available Sunday at this tent! She's already in town, I saw her at The Old Lucketts Store today! : )

See you there!

  2. I was there today...a first timer. Loved it all, the vendors, food, band, the old houses. Left with a full car.

  3. I was there today- I didn't like it as much as last year. I did get one cool thing, but the vibe was more yard sale than before.

  4. I was there today and I have to say that I had the most awesome time! I only saw probably a third of the market because my daughter had to get back to relieve her babysitter and I didn't want to leave!! We got there shortly after opening and I now know that with the expanded number of vendors and SO MUCH WAY KEWL STUFF I need to come both days next year! I was thrilled to see Karen of The Graphics Fairy again as well as meet Donna from Funky Junk Interiors and Miriam from Hometalk. I sw Marian, aka Miss Mustard Seed in the next tent and sadly she was so busy with other fans I didn't have a chance to meet her in person. I proudly wore my VIP wrist band and just loved every minute! I bought some neat things, wish I had had time to buy more! Thank you Lucketts for another fabulous market and Hometalk for bringing some of my favorites folks to town! Hugs,Leena

  5. This is seriously my favorite event of the year. I was there on Sunday and was so glad the weather held out. Great vendors as always and found some awesome things. Great job to all those who worked to hard putting this event together. I am in event planning myself and know how much work goes into events like these. Keep up the great work!
