Pin it Wednesdays #11-Nautical

We have beach and summer on our mind over here at the Design House.  Yesterday we literally hung netting to a ceiling and thought it would be fun to show you a few images that inspired us for this months Design House.

{1} Framing an old map and using it as a graphic point of interest:

{2} Throwing beach themed items into glass is fun decor for any home:

{3} A cheap and easy way to decor.  Find shells and starfish, hook them to a string and hang!

{4} Make a statement and use large glass lamps against a white setting.  It will set a relaxing atmosphere.

{5} Mason jars are the least expensive way to start a collection!

    1. That was one of my favorites too. I do worry about kids/pets, but it's so adorable.

  3. love,I have done Sea Shells and fun Nautical at the shop where I sell...but as of yet no sale. here are some fun ideas of what I did. I turned a minnow bucket into a lamp. I used tons of shells and made a mirror. I filled great clear glass tureen with shells and clear aqua glass beads. a fellow vendor did napkin rings using star fish. Then I added some great neaklaces from my Mom who went to Hawaii in the 60's...wish I lived close to Luckets

Love what you do and your web.blog is really great.
