Store to Abode Fridays # 19 - eco-friendly decorating with twine

We're baaaaack with another Store to Abode Friday.

Today we're using materials you probably have around the house and inspiring you to make a few Eco-friendly projects.

Here is my inspiration piece from Shop Lucketts --- our new twine and scissor set.  After seeing this piece, I stared to wonder, what other crafty things could you do with the twine, aside from wrapping some newspaper...

Five great ideas after the jump...

Here is my inspiration piece again from Shop Lucketts...

Here are a few projects I found that I want to try!

{1}  Here are some great ideas from Blue Purple & Scarlett showing you how to reinvent found materials in to beautiful packages.  {materials used:  buttons, twine & old notebook paper}

{2}  What a beautiful twine wrapped letter from Embellished Living.
{materials used:  ribbon, twine, cardboard letter & vintage dictionary pages for the flowers}

{3}  Here is an easy way to recover any planter if it doesn't match your decor from Peppermint Plum
{materials used:  small potted plant & a clay or plastic nursery pot}

{4} Not sure what to do with your beach treasures?  This great shell wreath from Craftiments was made from found objects and natural materials, and this sand dollar garland from Burlap and Blue is a simple way to dress up any mantel.
{materials used for wreath:  shells, wreath form, clothesline & jute twine}
{materials used for garland:  sand dollars, twine}

{5}  Love this photo display DIY from Talia Christine's blog.  Her husband made this for her!
{materials used:  weathered lattice boards, twine & clothespins}

Have you done an interesting DIY with twine?  What was it?  Please share with us!

Have a great weekend everyone!
