Fall is officially here. The days are getting cooler, and now is the perfect time to set up a vignette with pumpkins and mums for the fall.
Here is my inspiration for this week. Lisa took this picture of the entry to one of our barns by The Design House a while back.
Here are a few other inspiring ideas for fall entry ways that we found...
{1} A gorgeous alternative to oranges & yellows for the entryway- go with bright greens and purples for fall.
{2} Two ideas in this picture from Martha...Paint a few pumpkins in your scene for pops of color. Carve out a pumpkin and use it as a vase (plastic deli containers work well).
{3} We love the crows in mid flight in this scene, along with the twine pumpkins.
{4} One of my favorite porch scenes that mixes traditional fall elements {corn husks, pumpkins -- aren't the colors just beautiful?} with architectural & found objects {arch window, old sign, urn}.
{5} Sometimes simple is best. A lone pumpkin with great entry lighting and accessories (wheat wreath, watering can) is quite beautiful (and you probably have everything already).
Have a great weekend everyone!
