Hey everyone!  We just put several items in our online store, Shop Lucketts this week.

We were able to get a few bed crowns back in stock, along with our mini chalkboards, which are perfect for making little reminders and sharing favorite quotes.

Along with restocking, we added two new clocks, a beautiful vase set, and our very favorite PARIS sign.  {click here to see them} 

A paint update

We know there are lots of anxious fans awaiting Miss Mustard Seed's paint line. 

Last month, we posted about Marian's paint line {you can read about it here}. 

We are expecting to get our paint shipments at The Old Lucketts Store in early August.

I wanted to share some updates from this week.

Seems like everyone is in a million places at once and we're all working hard to get the Design House ready for the 3rd, 4th & 5th of August.

New furniture, new paint, a buying trip, giant post-its, and new online products are a few of the updates from the last two days.

Where did that come from?

We're always asked where our items come from.  That question is a difficult one to answer, but one we hope to shed some light on in a two part series this week.

As a "worker girl", I've always been fascinated by where things come from and just what it takes to find, restore, and get something in the shop ready to sell.

I've asked the dealers over the years where they find things, and learned it's not easy restocking each week and coming up with new ideas.

Lobby update

Over the weekend, I shared a few pictures of Pete's new space {here}.

Marian was at Lucketts over the weekend working on her new space in the lobby.

More moves this past week over at the shop. 

It's been really exciting to watch, but a lot of work for our vendors to move and rearrange their spaces.

Pete's space is coming along quite nicely.  The back room now has his signature hip industrial feel mixed with lots of great metal, leather/fur, and wood pieces.

Aside from lots of great decorating ideas and vignettes, I always find one {or two or three} really special pieces I would just love to take home with me.

Store to Abode Fridays #17 - glass front cabinets

For this Store to Abode Friday, I'm focusing on glass front cabinets. 

These cabinets are beautiful and functional ways to show off your treasures.

We tend to have these at The Old Lucketts Store quite often; right now we have several beauties in various sizes and finishes. 

I wanted to give you a few ideas for how to display items in these cabinets, including a few places you can put glass front cabinets that you may not have thought about before.
