We love your Holiday Design House and I love the owls...!
ReplyDeleteI can grab my girlfriends, bring a trailer, and make a day of it!
ReplyDeletePick me! I love that you're collecting monetary and canned food donations for Loudoun Interfaith November 4-6.
ReplyDeleteI love the mercury glass ornaments for your Holiday Open House! I ordered some for my shop space in Lewisberry, PA - can't wait to get them in the mail!
ReplyDelete~ Rachael
A friend and I will be driving from Richmond for the Holiday Open House. I have been to the design House before but never at Christmas. I know it will be beautifully decorated.
ReplyDelete~Sherry
I already follow you on FB.
ReplyDeleteoh my goodness ~ everything is gorgeous in your Open House pics ~ Love all of the white! and especially the owls ~ Makes me want them! :)
ReplyDeleteYou can donate either nonperishable food or money to Loudoun Interfaith Relief from November 4-6 at the Design House, and all money will be converted to grocery store gift cards.
ReplyDeleteI'm impressed every time you guys (americans) start collecting for less fortunate! I'm impressed because so many people support people "almost next door". That is a thing that got nearly lost here! We rather ship a lot of money in countries that are far away, which is also ok but I think we also should get back to helping out next door. It's not only helping out with food, or money, but being a friend as well.
ReplyDeleteAnd of course I like your YouTube Video a lot! It's so sparkling and gives me a warm feeling! :)
I'm following along!
ReplyDeleteAnd I like you on FB too!
ReplyDeleteIncorporating a food drive into the open house weekend is a caring and thoughful idea! Can't wait to come and be inspired!
ReplyDeleteYour Open House is always the best way to start the Holidays for me. How great that you are using the occasion to help out the Interfaith group. Great idea!
ReplyDeleteI love that EVERYTHING is for sale! Last year was my husband and I's first Christmas together. I heard from a friend that a bird in your Christmas tree is good luck! I found a sweet little charming bird to stick up in my tree for Christmas, but it sits out year round! So you better believe I'm grabbing my hubby, a trailer, and making a day of it this holiday again!
ReplyDeleteI am hoping to make this open house my first trip to Lucketts Old Store :) I can't wait to bring some canned soup and check out that beautiful dining room table set that was in your YouTube Video!!
ReplyDeleteI've been following your blog for about 3 weeks now and so enjoy your chats and all of the delicious eye candy! I don't even remember how I came upon your blog now that I think of it, guess it was just serendipity.
ReplyDeleteI was looking through all of the glamorous photos from last year's Open House. Oh, all of the shiny, colorful, sometimes quiet vintage luxury was absolute beauty. Interestingly, the one photo that made me STOP and look and want to hold, was the lovely, simple, seed pearled, pink wool felt star. Had I been there, I'd have bought it on the spot and given it a special place where I could appreciate her simple beauty every day.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway! I recently started following Miss Mustard Seed's blog and am thrilled to find your blog. I am planning on coming to the 2011 Open House. The photos from 2010 are pure magic! joaniehoffman@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteI WISH I could visit your store and your design house but I live on the left coast :( Its so inspiring to visit your blog and live vicariously through your pictures!!
ReplyDeleteWoohoo! Everything in your past open house is something I would love to have. As a dollmaker the three girls on the sleigh is SO SWEET! I definitely want to come to this years party, er I mean, OPEN HOUSE!
ReplyDeleteCan hardly wait!
ReplyDeleteI love that you have a tab labeled doodads & fluff!! I also love the little nest of feathery owls in last year's pictures!

ReplyDeleteBless you and your customers for helping feed those in need. You make magic in so many ways.
ReplyDeleteOne of the coolest things about the Holiday Open House to me is that each room of the Design House is decorated with a different color theme. One year, there was an especialy pretty bedroom, all done up in icey blue, white and silver. I called it the White Christmas room because that's what it reminded me of. I even blogged about it! The atmosphere of the entire grounds is so festive with music, a little fire pit to sit by and decorations. I can't wait to go back this year! Hugs, Leena
ReplyDeleteLove the pictures and the video. Have a great time at the Open House. Merry Christmas!!!

I'd like to visit, but I live so far away. My sisters live in the DC metro area, so I will share the Open House info with them. I saw a pillow in the store inventory that said "You can have your cake and eat it too!". I'll accept that for Christmas! Merry Christmas to all and a wonderful Open House Nov 4-6.
