These red onions are super yummy. They are great in salads, on hamburgers, smoked trout, and take the Cowbell's ham & cheddar biscuit sandwich up to a divine taste level sensation. 

Get ready...get set...Spring Market!!!

The Spring Market countdown has begun!  We are officially a month and a half away from the May 18 & 19 fair!

Heather has been diligently working on the Spring Market for months now - permits, road signs, t-shirts, wrist bands, logistics, port-a-potties, and the list goes on and on.

While we can all appreciate all of the hard work behind the scenes, I can't pass up the pretty pictures part!  Here is a little bit about a few vendors we are super-excited to have this year.

April 5, 6 & 7 Design House - getting it to all come together

We took a few pictures of the Design House process for the next April event (April 5, 6 & 7) throughout the month for you.

There is always so much going on all month to get ready for the three day event.  The house sort of looks like a tornado hit up until the very end....boxes everywhere, trying out new colors and layouts for the rooms, "smalls" tucked everywhere.

What's new in the shop & online this week...

So much going on this week.  We received a new shipment in this past week (just in time to unpack and style for the April Design House, April, 5, 6 & 7).  This gives us about 7 days to get everything in place...not a lot of time when you are redoing an entirely new house each month!

Our dealers didn't disappoint this week, and brought in a ton of new goodies too this week, including chemistry supplies, an apothecary sideboard, and other fun accent pieces.

Hi y'all....my name is Melanie and I have worked at The Old Lucketts Store for goin' on two years now.  I have had the pleasure of watching these talented ladies bring in what I thought was "junk" and turn them into whimsical, beautiful one-of-a-kind treasures.

I sat back with wonder thinking "Ya think I could do that"? After many months, I finally got the nerve to ask my co-worker and friend Heather if she might be interested in "tutoring" me on how to paint furniture.

We have a killer bench, some green painted furniture, and some great favorites came back in stock this week for our online store.

Two love affairs: peanut butter & recycling

I am obsessed with peanut butter.  Buckeyes are simple, delicious and you can not eat just one, end of story!

Ohio put them on the map by dipping them to resemble the nut from a buckeye tree.
